Hayley is regarded as an outstanding lawyer and regularly described as punching well above her weight in terms of experience and commercial advice. She has been praised for her technical understanding and ability to transfer that into practical advice for her clients.
Her experience includes acting for and advising shipowners, charterers, shipyards and contractors, P&I Clubs, cargo insurers, commodity traders and natural resources companies on a range of issues and disputes arising from charterparties, bills of lading, sale of goods, shipbuilding and superyacht contracts, sale-and-purchase agreements and financing agreements.
She has represented clients across a range of arbitral forums, in the LCIA, ICC and LMAA, as well as in High Court litigation in the Commercial Court and the Admiralty Court.
Hayley joined Preston Turnbull after training and qualifying as a solicitor at a global City law firm. She graduated with a First Class degree from the University of Cambridge and achieved a Distinction in both years of her legal professional studies.
