Ross has a growing reputation as a highly effective lawyer and has a broad range of expertise in general commercial litigation, shipping and insurance disputes. His management of legal processes has been described as first class.
He has experience in a variety of wet and dry shipping disputes acting for owners, operators, charterers, buyers and sellers of vessels in addition to P&I Clubs and London market insurers. He has also been a key member of a team successfully representing Korean shipyards and European superyacht builders on a number of shipbuilding disputes.
Ross has represented clients in numerous international arbitrations in forums including LMAA, LCIA and SCMA and litigation in the Commercial Court in London.
Prior to joining Preston Turnbull, Ross trained and qualified as a solicitor at a global law firm. In particular, he has also gained astute commercial understanding of the shipping market from his experience working in the in-house legal team of a major vessel owner/operator.
