Corporate Social Responsibility
At Preston Turnbull LLP, we recognise that as a law firm we have responsibilities that extend beyond our legal services. We are committed to operating ethically, sustainably, and in ways that create positive impact for our clients, colleagues, communities, and the environment.
Charities
In selecting charitable organisations to support, we aim to prioritise those that are local to our offices, have a connection to our core business activities (particularly shipping), or directly benefit members of our team and their families. This approach ensures our charitable efforts have a meaningful and tangible impact within our immediate community and professional sphere.
We are currently supporting:
Gwennili Trust
Gwennili Trust is a volunteer led charity founded in 1995 that provides offshore yacht sailing opportunities for people with physical and mental disabilities, with a particular focus on military veterans. The charity offers a range of sailing experiences, including day sails in wheelchair-accessible catamarans on the South Coast, longer cruises, and racing events. Their mission is to provide therapeutic, educational, and respite opportunities that build confidence and social skills in a safe and supportive environment.

St Katharine’s Trust
St Katharine's Trust is a volunteer led London based charity that uses sports and community activities to improve the health and lives of local residents facing barriers to inclusion. Serving the areas of St Katharine's Docks and surrounding communities, the trust provides free programs and sessions, such as football and table tennis, to all ages and genders. Its mission is to combat social exclusion and improve physical and mental health outcomes by building social and personal skills through sport.
The Brain Tumour Charity
The Brain Tumour Charity - The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity, dedicated to saving and improving lives through three key areas of work with that being research, support, and awareness. The charity funds pioneering research to find new treatments, improve understanding, and ultimately find a cure. In parallel, it provides crucial support services and information to anyone affected by a brain tumour, including patients, their families, and friends. It also campaigns for urgent change, advocating for better awareness, quicker diagnosis, and improved outcomes for all.
In previous years, we have also supported The University Hospital Lewisham, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Stella Maris and Sailors Society.
