Cassandra’s experience lies mainly in wet and dry shipping litigation, with a particular focus on London arbitration and High Court Proceedings as well as alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation.
Cassandra regularly acts for Charterers, Shipowners, P&I Clubs and Insurers in relation to issues such as collision, salvage, arrest, general average, charterparty disputes, cargo misdelivery, insurance coverage, and sanctions regimes.
Prior to joining Preston Turnbull, Cassandra was seconded to both the FD&D and P&I departments of a leading International Group P&I Club where she assisted members with marine liabilities arising from vessel operations including: collisions with vessels, damage to fixed or floating objects, loss of, or damage to, cargo, loss of life and injury to crew, passengers and third parties.
