Sophie Forsyth

Sophie has a broad range of experience in international trade, marine and commodity disputes. She has worked on a number of complex and high-profile commercial matters, covering international arbitration, court litigation, ADR, fraud and sales disputes.
Sophie regularly advises on disputes arising out of charterparties, bills of lading and sales contracts and has also assisted on significant admiralty matters, including major collisions and groundings. She has experience in LMAA, ICC, HKIAC, SMA and GAFTA arbitrations as well as litigation before the Commercial and Admiralty Courts in London.
Prior to joining Preston Turnbull, Sophie trained at a global law firm in Hong Kong before transferring to their London office in 2021.
