SW Burger is a Partner specialising in sanctions, international trade and shipping disputes. He advises shipowners, charterers, traders and other maritime industry participants on contentious and non-contentious matters, with particular expertise in sanctions-related issues affecting the maritime sector. Prior to joining Preston Turnbull, SW spent time working in private practice and in-house at a leading International Group P&I club advising on a broad range of wet and dry shipping matters.
